What we look for...

Our initial qualification is at least two years' management experience in a busy full-service restaurant.  Beyond that, we look for integrity, a strong guest focus, a passion for maintaining high standards and a desire to be part of something great.

Management Structure

Each location is led by a team of managers.  Our Proprietors have full responsibility for all of the restaurants' results.  Assisting the Proprietor is a Kitchen Manager who has Heart-of-the-House responsibilities and a Manager who is primarily guest-focused, with additional responsibilities throughout the restaurant.  In addition to our management teams, we empower "Team Leaders" to assist with management functions, thereby growing their skills and preparing them for future roles with Ted's Montana Grill.

Training Ted's Montana Grill University

Training our future leaders is serious business at Ted's Montana Grill.  Our training program is a total of ten weeks.  Eight weeks are spent at our Restaurant Support Center in Atlanta, GA. in our state-of-the-art Training facility.  You will receive structured classroom courses, as well as practical application and field training.  Industry veterans will facilitate your training - teaching you "best practices" to enhance your abilities.  You will then go through two weeks of structured "transition training" in your assigned "home" restaurant.

  • Salary.  Our management's base salaries and performance-based appraisal program are built to attract and retain the strongest leaders in the industry.
  • Bonus.  Your monthly bonus incentives are created to acknowledge outstanding operating performance.  All Managers are rewarded for meeting sales targets and delivering profit after controllable expenses.  Our management teams are also given extra incentives when they achieve levels that are above our expectations.  We love to share the victories with our teams and will reward them accordingly.

  • Management Paid Vacations.  You'll earn two weeks of vacation time each year.  Your vacation time begins accruing when you begin employment with us and continues to grow as you work.  So you don't have to wait a full year to take the time you need.  And after five years of employment, we up the ante to three weeks a year.
