Job Description:
- The utility position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, using the dish machine and manual cleaning methods.
Essential Functions:
The job responsibilities of the Utility position include, but are not limited to:
- Sweeps & mops floors in the entire restaurant.
- Maintains cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant.
- Polishes brass fixtures.
- Dusts fixtures, tables, etc.
- Cleans floor drains and ceiling vents.
- Cleans and sanitizes restrooms.
- Vacuums the bison head and mats.
- Sweep and remove debris & trash around the exterior of the restaurant, including the parking lot.
- Dispose of the trash in the dumpster.
- Place recyclables in appropriate recycling container.
- Run trash & recyclables.
- Break down boxes.
- Maintain cleanliness of the back dock.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Full-Service Restaurant Kitchen Experience is desired

Essential Physical Requirements:
Daily physical requirements and/or number of pounds that may need to be lifted on the job:
- Lift and empty trash cans weighing up to 100 lbs., with assistance (up to 20 times per shift).
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and lifting.
- Work indoors 90%, outdoors 10%.
- Must be able to read and fully understand labels on chemicals.
- Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts from broken glass, knife handling, metal cans, burns, slipping and tripping.
- Frequent exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity and extreme cold.
